G1 Climax

The G1 Climax, started in 1991, is one of the most prestigious annual wrestling tournaments in the world. Wrestlers ranging from Ric Flair to Big Van Vader to Shinya Hashimoto to Steve Austin have participated in the G1 Climax throughout its history. New Japan wrestlers dominate the event but each year there are various freelancers and invaders from other promotions to ensure that the tournament is always different and always unpredictable. Through the years the tournament has changed in the number of participants and style, but since 1999 it has been a round robin tournament with at least two blocks. Below I have listed every G1 Climax with the participants, the Semi Final (if there was one), and the Finals. Each wrestler name will bring you to that wrestler's profile if you click on it. For each round robin style tournament, the wrestlers are listed by row in their block in the order that they finished. For single elimination tournaments, the wrestlers are lined up over the wrestler that they defeated in the first round.
