Even though YAMATO debuted in February, he spent the rest of the year in Mexico. While in Mexico he teamed with KAI, and the experience did wonders for them as they not only improved their skills but also became very charismatic. On July 26th YAMATO won the IWRG Rey Del Ring, beating 29 different wrestlers to come out the victor. Both are set to return in early 2008.
