Keisuke Yamada debuted in IWA Japan and wrestled for the promotion for a long time and was also for a brief period the president after Victor Quinones left. Yamada left IWA Japan in 1999, joining Osaka Pro, where he played an important role as “Black Buffalo." After suffering an injury in 2007, he returned and challenged Tigers Mask to a mask vs mask match, which he lost, thus revealing his real identity. Yamada is still wrestling unmasked in Osaka Pro; he nevertheless continues using his former ring name, Black Buffalo.
