About the Webmaster and Contact Information

A lifelong wrestling fan, I first became interested in puroresu wrestlers when the Great Muta and Jushin Thunder Liger invaded WCW in 1989 and 1990. Even though I was only five at the time, at the Norfolk Scope in 1989 I saw Great Muta face Sting and was hooked into wrestling ever since. After continuing to be a fan of American wrestling, in 2003 I became bored with the scene and finally made an effort to watch puroresu. Now, I am thoroughly enjoying Japanese wrestling and it has saved my love for wrestling, as without it I might not watch wrestling at all.

I don't fit the mould of a "typical" wrestling fan, which perhaps explains my drive to have a website instead of just watching wrestling and complaining on messageboards like most fans :). I am 25 years old, have a BA from the University of Richmond, have my own place and have a steady job that sadly forces me to wear a shirt and tie on a daily basis. I don't live in a basement and have been in a steady relationship for several years. I am a huge fan of the Buffalo Bills and Virginia Tech, and I enjoy collecting sports cards and reading books about European History. I grew up in Newport News, VA and after living in Virginia Beach for a few years now I am back in Newport News. I went to school with Michael Vick, shaken Bob Dole's hand, been to a rodeo, eaten fried frog legs, been car jacked on two occasions, stood on the field at Ralph Wilson Stadium, and traveled to five different countries.

As most of you know I was (and technically still am) the webmaster of the Wrestling Encyclopedia and I used a lot of the ideas of that site to help me make this one. If you ever have any questions dealing with puroresu, at all, feel free to email me at purocentral@gmail.com. I am not doing this to make money or leave my mark on society, but to help puroresu fans. The goal of this website is to do anything I can to help both new and old fans in their quest to enjoy puroresu. When I was going to create a website I tried to focus on areas that other sites didn't, and with the help of Zedi and other fans I think I have succeeded.
