- July 22nd, 1989 vs. Genichiro Tenryu and Stan Hansen

Career Highlights:

One of the most successful tag teams from the Showa era, Tsuruta began teaming with Yatsu after having teamed with Giant Baba and Tenryu previously. Tsuruta continued his dominance of tag team wrestling, as with Yatsu they would win seven tag team championships. Perhaps their most notable accomplishment was unifying the PWF World Tag Team Championship with the NWA International Championship to create the All Japan Unified World Tag Team Championship on June 10th, 1988 when they defeated the Road Warriors. They would go on to hold the All Japan World Tag Team Championship five times in a short period of time, as the competition was fierce and it was difficult for any one team to hold onto the titles for a long reign. After breaking up in 1990, Yatsu left with Tenryu to form SWS and he never wrestled in All Japan again.
