As we all know, wrestlers very rarely ever retire. There are always comeback matches, comeback tours, helping out an old friend, "exhibition matches," and many others reasons that wrestlers that said they are retired make another appearance in the squared circle. This list is either for wrestlers that have announced their retirement and for wrestlers that have been inactive for so long that their retirement is assumed. A wrestler won't come off this list if they make an appearance here and there, but only if they actively return to professional wrestling.
