2006 Recap:
A Jr. Heavyweight, Ota is perhaps coming along the slowest of the new dojo class. He was completely off of a lot of big cards in 2006 and the ones he did wrestle on he did not fair well. On the 12/23 SEM event, where the newer wrestlers got the chance to wrestle veterans in singles matches, he opened the event and lost to Ishimori. He also lost in a singles match against Suzuki in SEM. Ota still has a lot of climbing to do.

2007 Recap:
Ota continued lagging behind Aoki in 2007, failing in most of his attempts to beat his fellow dojo mates. He did have a big singles match against Mushiking Terry at the Shiodome Street event, but fell to the Myst Crash. In the Mauritius Cup he only defeated Akihiko Ito, losing to everyone else. At the last SEM show he got the rare chance to wrestle Mitsuharu Misawa in a singles match, but he fell in under five minutes.
