One of the most popular tag teams from 1999 to 2001, TenKoji (as they were affectionately called) had a great deal of success in New Japan. After winning the titles for the first time on 1/4/99, they would have the titles for only a few months before losing them to Kensuke Sasaki and Shiro Koshinaka. Their next title reign would be far more successful, as on July 20th, 2000 they would win the titles from Nakanishi and Nagata. It would be one of the most successful tag runs in New Japan history, as they would have six successful defense before losing the titles to Tatsumi Fujinami and Osamu Nishimura. In 2002, Kojima would leave New Japan for All Japan and in the process broke up the tag team. They would re-form in late 2006 and together won the All Japan Real World Tag League. They would team up one last time on January 4th, 2007 in New Japan, but they would fall to Keiji Mutoh and Masahiro Chono.
