Dan Bobish was a King of the Cage fighter when he joined World Japan. In World Japan he had limited success against the established puroresu stars (losing to Kenzo Suzuki and to Kensuke Sasaki), but he did get a title shot against Sasaki and defeated Mammoth Sasaki and Todd Shane during the fall of 2003.
