Career Highlights in Japan:
Christopher Daniels first made a splash in Japan by wrestling there as Curry Man, a spicy gimmick that saw him wrestling under a mask. As Curry Man, on March 12th, 2004, he would team with American Dragon and win the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Championship by defeating Jado and Gedo. They would successfully defend the titles once against Ryusuke Taguchi & Hirooki Goto before losing the titles back to Jado and Gedo in June. In 2008, Daniels would wrestle as himself at the New Japan Tokyo Dome in an attempt to win the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship against Inoue, but Inoue would come out the victor. A few months later Daniels would defeat Inoue in a non-title match which led to Daniels getting another shot at the title, but once again he would fall to Wataru Inoue.
