2005 Recap:
One of the lower Jr. Heavyweights, Ricky Marvin frequently participates on NOAH tours in an attempt to move up the card. Marvin usually wrestles in tag matches in the undercard of events, and frequently squares off against Kotaro Suzuki. They even had a mid-card match against each other at the Tokyo Dome Show in July, but under costumes in a match especially for the children in attendance. While Marvin did not get any title shots in 2005, he showed promise in his matches and is young enough that there is still plenty of time for him to achieve more success.

2006 Recap:
Marvin continues touring regularly for NOAH. On April 10th, he got a shot at Scorpio's GHC Hardcore Openweight Championship, but he was defeated by a powerbomb. That was the only title shot he would receive in 2006, and in general he has had difficulty picking up wins even though he puts on a great show. He wrestled regularly in SEM, but lost to Yone in his only singles match for the brand. Marvin also wrestles as Mushiking Joker, usually against his arch nemesis Mushiking Terry.

2007 Recap:
2007 was Marvin's best year in NOAH as he won the GHC Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Championship with Kotaro Suzuki on January 21st against The Briscoe Brothers. They would hold the titles for over 10 months with five successful defenses before they dropped the titles on November 24th against Naruki Doi and Masato Yoshino. He also challenged for the GHC Jr. Heavyweight Championship against Kanemaru on November 19th, but he would fail to pick up the victory. Marvin broke his leg on November 24th while defending his title and he would be out for the rest of the year.
