Omori left NOAH in 2003 and joined World Japan in time for its first show. In the WMG Tag Team Title Tournament, Omori teamed with Kenzo Suzuki but lost in the first round to the eventual winners Choshu and Tenryu. He also took part in the Strongest Tournament and defeated Bobish before falling to Kenzo Suzuki. Unlike Kensuke Sasaki, Omori stayed with the promotion through 2004 and he defeated Tengu Kaiser on January 5th during his last month in the promotion.
