2005 Recap:
To say that Raijin had little success in 2005 would be an understatement.  Raijin was usually stuck opening cards, and if he did make it to the mid-card he usually was the one pinned.  Since Raijin did not debut in All Japan until 2004, he is still considered a rookie and thus is stuck in undesirable roles.  He did not participate in the Champions Carnival, and in the Real Tag League he (and Suwama) came in 3rd in their block.  Raijin still has a long way to go to be a force in All Japan after 2005.

2006 Recap:
Raijin continued where he left off at the start of 2006, as he was pinned by Brute Issei in only his third match. He did not take part of the Champion Carnival nor did he get any title shots. He generally wrestled in comedy matches with Kikuchi and whenever he got a higher profile match he was defeated.

2007 Recap:
For the beginning of the year Raijin mostly worked in the mid-card or lower teaming with his friend Ryuji Hijikata. In May Raijin left for North America on a learning excursion and will return sometime in 2008.
