The traditional tag team partner of Makoto Oishi in K-Dojo, Asahi has always been ranked a step lower than his teammate. Asahi debuted in 2002 and 2 years later he picked his first important result by winning the K-Metal League 2004. He later started to regularly team with Oishi, leading to a successful series of victories, culminated by the capture of the Strongest K-Tag and the WEW Hardcore Tag Team championships.
