2006 Recap:

2007 Recap:
Naito continued honing his craft as he opened events throughout the year. Although Naito usually lost his matches, he did pick up pinfall victories over Okada and Hirasawa through the course of the year. On December 24th he would get the chance to show his growth when he faced off against Kanemoto, and he put up a good fight for over 10 minutes before submitting to the ankle lock.
